Ross began his career in the compressed air field in 1979 working for Festo, after completing a fitting and machining apprenticeship.

Ross worked for Festo for 10 years and became the Western Australian Manager before leaving Festo and establishing his own business known as Specialised Control Services in 1989.

Specialised Control Services core business was pneumatic equipment sales and service combined with air purification products. It was the West Australian agents and resellers for a number of filtration manufacturers and pneumatic equipment suppliers during this period.

Ross spent 3 weeks at Domnick Hunter's factory in the United Kingdom, training on there products during 1997.

The business became more focussed on compressed air filtration products from 1998 onwards and started importing and distributing alternate filter elements and filter housings. With this product range, the company saw an opportunity at expanding the business to a national supplier of our products. The target market is the Australian compressed air industry, predominately compressor service companies and pneumatic equipment suppliers.

The product range has grown over recent years so SCS can provide a comprehensive product range to the compressor sales/service companies and pneumatic based businesses. With the change in business emphasis from pneumatics to filtration, better identification was needed.

In October 2004, the business name changed from Specialised Control Services Pty Ltd to SCS Filtration Pty Ltd. The business name now reflects what products our business are primarily involved with.

Ross has visited a number of compressed air filtration manufacturers around the world and endeavours to keep up with the latest industry products and technologies. On an academic level, he has a sales and marketing diploma and actively meets with other business people to discuss ideas which can assist in growing SCS into a major supplier in our industry.

Jason joined us in November 2007 after spending several years at Domnick Hunter as their Sales Coordinator.

Jason has a good background in the compressed air industry as well as in manufacturing and has a good understanding of our customers needs. As our Technical Sales Representative, Jason will be able to help you with all your product and sales inquiries.

anthony raiti

Anthony began with us in April 2008 which coincided with our shifting the business to Melbourne. Anthony is in charge of the warehouse and does our ordering.

Anthony brings plenty of warehousing and computing experience and has previously worked for other sales organisations. His personality combined with his skills make Anthony a very important member of our team.
